Thirty-eight of the top fly anglers on the west coast of Florida participated in the 2nd annual Mangrove Coast Fly Fishers/Coastal Conservation Association "Fall Fly Fishing Challenge" held in Sarasota on Saturday, October 21, 2006. Tournament participants fished with flies only for snook, redfish and trout in a photo-release format. The event featured an upscale raffle, an awards BBQ and handsome plaques and prizes provided by sponsors.

The tournament was held out of the Ken Thompson Park boat ramp on City Island and will benefit the MCFF Scholarship Fund and CCA. More photos.
