Help CCA Florida fund this memorial reef in the Florida Panhandle. Donations can be made in various amounts.

Our dear friend Bart Carey departed this earth on September 20, 2020, leaving behind family, friends and loved ones that mourn the loss of a life that ended far too soon. Bart was 49 years old.

Bart’s family requested that contributions be made in Bart’s name to CCA Florida to go towards the development of an artificial reef in Bart’s name.

Working closely with CCA Florida, the logistics and permitting process for Bart’s Reef is already well underway. The Reef will be located off the coast of Franklin County, Florida and the anticipated deployment date for the Reef is the Summer of 2021. The size and breadth of the Reef is dependent on the amount of funds raised – our goal is a large structure that will include an engraved plaque, ensuring a permanent monument to Bart, whose love of the ocean was unparalleled.
