Similar to our Tampa Chapter, the Hernando County Chapter is one of the oldest in the state. It was founded in 1987, several of the founding members are still actively involved. With 450+ members, the chapter has worked on habitat projects including the Centipede Bay Oyster Reef Restoration, County oyster restoration projects, trash clean ups and more.
