First Phase of the C-51 Reservoir
March 15 was a remarkable milestone as we joined forces with the Florida Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, the South Florida Water Management District and our partners at Phillips & Jordan, Inc. to mark the completion of the first phase of the C-51 Reservoir. With the second phase already in progress, this collaborative endeavor is set to bring 60,000 acre-feet of water storage, marking another significant stride towards the restoration of the Everglades.
The dedication of all parties involved highlight our collective commitment to environmental preservation and water management. This project is not just about water storage; it’s a significant move towards safeguarding the future of the Everglades, an essential ecosystem for Florida.
