Governor DeSantis Addresses Water Quality
This month, Governor DeSantis shared bold and comprehensive action plans to address our state’s water quality. We’re extremely encouraged by his immediate action and plans for funding in the Everglades, the expedited projects in South Florida and commitment to explore every option toward protecting the Apalachicola River and Bay. We applaud the Governor for his recognition that our water and natural resources are “the foundation of our economy and our way of life in Florida.”
Like CCA, our Governor has an eye on water quality across the state, and we want to see the proposed projects funded and completed as soon as possible. How can you help? We continue to encourage our members and all concerned residents to contact their elected leadership and push for state and federal funding of these and other approved projects which we believe will bring relief to our state.
