Re: HJR 1157 Right to Hunting and Fishing

Dear Representative Melo,

On behalf of Coastal Conservation Association (CCA) Florida, I would like to thank you for your sponsorship of HJR 1157 and dedication to Florida and it’s outdoors. Florida is a special place for hunters and anglers and we too want to keep it open for outdoor enthusiast to enjoy.

CCA Florida is a not-for-profit organization and its statewide membership is comprised of nearly 20,000 conservation-minded, recreational anglers, who are often considered the best stewards for the marine environment. CCA Florida works to protect the health, habitat and sustainability of the state’s marine resources while keeping in mind the interests of recreational anglers and their access to Florida’s cherished resources. CCA Florida would like to take this opportunity to support your House Joint Resolution 1157.

Over the years, CCA Florida has worked tirelessly to protect Florida’s marine fisheries and we see this as an opportunity to further our work by creating a right to hunt and fish in Florida. CCA Florida thanks you and your colleagues for your continued support of Florida’s outdoor men and women and support for HJR 1157. Please feel free to contact us for any help.

Sincerely,

Trip Aukeman
CCA Director of Advocacy
