Trump Signs America’s Water Infrastructure Act
October 24, 2018 – We’re excited to share that President Donald Trump has signed into law, America’s Water Infrastructure Act, S. 3021 (115), sometimes referred to as the Water Resources Development Act (WRDA) – which includes a Florida reservoir aimed at reducing toxic algae blooms on our coasts.
Now approved, we hope to see the typical lengthy process to fund, begin and complete the reservoir expedited, given the damage our state has seen to coastal waters in recent months.
You can help – keep pressure on your Congressional members to appropriate funding for this and other necessary projects.
